Uprated kit for Z190 engines

Heavier weighted pawl stops it jumping past the gate.

We prefer to use this up rated pawl compared to the new washer solution as it allows the shift drum to float as it should without restricting its travel making the gear changes less notchey.

We’ve put the off set in the arm in the widest part of the pawl for extra strength..

DO NOT USE WITH RETAINER WASHER FITTED TO THE END OF THE SHIFT DRUM USE SUPPLIED WASHER.

 

Specifications:

  • 11.6mm diameter. Floating selector end
  • 44mm Centres
  • 2.21 mm thick steel rather than the stock 1.93mm
  • M6 thread fixing
  • 10mm tread length
  • When fitting put both idle gear shims on the back of the idle gear due to the pawl has a thicker boss
